About the work
A numerical model has been developed to calculate the energy consumption of domestic electric ovens according to the UNE–EN 60350 standard. The model allows the analysis of the influence of parameters such as the thickness and thermal properties of insulating materials, as well as the oven’s operating logic, by activating heating elements or the fan (if present) based on user defined control parameters (time, sensor temperature, or actuator state).
