About the work

When your world is gone, can you start a new life, find your first love?

At thirteen, Chiaki watched as the moon crashed on Earth, killing his parents, his sister, his nephew... and his entire civilization. Now he's a refugee fifteen thousand light-years from what was once his home, on a planet donated to humans but which they must share with two other species. The humans own nothing but the houses built for them by the Krogans.

However, the boy is determined not to live off charity in this new world. Through hard work—and some highly questionable actions—he hopes to build a commercial empire that will eclipse the one his father once owned.

However, his plans are about to be derailed in the most unexpected way when one day he encounters a Yōsei in an alien forest. A wondrous spirit. A fairy. What he doesn't expect is that his life will soon depend literally on this blue fairy.

How do you build a civilization from scratch? How do you relate to other beings whose way of thinking is so different from your own? How can you imagine that a fairy could even resemble what you are?
