About the work
This is a feature script written by Mr. Bakalar in 1994. The script tells the story of a woman on the run from an assassin with her 3-4 year old son, who rushes onto a subway car at night and pleads with a young bachelor - a guy who´s never experienced any great tragedy in his life - to take her child and protect him. Before he can protest, she thrusts the child into his arms and storms off the train. Moments later the bachelor sees her gunned down on the platform by the assassin. The assassin then looks back at the subway car and sees the bachelor with the child. The chase is on. In this 8 part series, the ultimate question is: how far would you go to protect a stranger's child? Based on an original script written by Andrew Bakalar
