About the work
Afterthought is an original orchestral arrangement written originally for the acoustic guitar in the key of C major. It has a mellow, yet melancholy feel. I added two string parts, a solo flute and french horn part to the arrangement. The tempo is fairly slow at around 52 bpm. There are interesting harmonic lines between the orchestral instruments while a finger-picked acoustic guitar plays throughout in the background.
