"The one I love" es una canción compuesta, escrita, interpretada, grabada (en todas sus partes y pistas), producida, mezclada y masterizada integramente por Alvaro Amarante Sánchez (conocido como Alan James en Beev Rations), fundador y líder de Beev Rations. Dicha canción es la cara B del single titulado "What's that?", publicado inicialmente en Creative People el 12 noviembre de 2016.

"The one I love" fue compuesta en Julio de 2016, grabada en la primera quincena de agosto y masterizada en su versión definitiva el 12 de noviembre del mismo año. Con una duración de 1 minuto y 32 segundos, el estilo de la canción es ecléctico, aunque mayormente se percibe la clara influencia del pop-rock clásico de los años 60. La voz, editada a mayor velocidad de la natural, semeja la de un duende.

La letra de la canción es la siguiente:
