About the work

This essay –under the final title ‘An Argument on Uncertainty’- provides a philosophical view about metaphysical knowledge. After a thorough logical analysis of the different alternatives for obtaining metaphysical knowledge, it finishes with the following proposal: “as a consequence of our awareness of the fact that metaphysical knowledge is unattainable- a sincere tolerance and respect (should be) exercised, towards people having rational metaphysical views which are different or even opposite to those in which we believe: a tolerance and respect that should be reciprocal”
